Where to get parcel number
Treasurer's Office. Business Personal Property. Customer Service. Manufactured Housing Information. Appraisal Home. Principles of Value. Real Property Value.
Property Identification. Data Sources. Data Collection. Land Valuation. Approaches to Value. Market Value. Real Property. Valuation Basis. This is simply one example of how you can proceed with your search. Using the parcel number to search, you have the options to view title or abstract details, to request a copy of the title or abstract details, and to view a Geographic Information System GIS picture of the parcel of land.
Although it will not be seen on the search results screen, it will appear on your bill. This can be used to keep track of search fees and can be a file number, a name or another identifier you choose. If no Fee icon displays, no fee will be incurred for selecting an icon or button.
NOTE: Do not refresh your screen at anytime during a search session. Look for the number on a previous year's tax statement or a property tax revaluation notice.
The number will likely be in the informational section, usually at the top of the bill. Contact your lender if property taxes are included in your mortgage payment and you either can't find or didn't get a copy of the bill. Check for the number on the property's listing sheet , in the tax section of the title report , or on the property deed. Search for the number online. County assessor websites usually have property research tools , including maps and searchable databases that require only the street address to search for information.
Visit the tax assessor's office in person.
