The fact that I can still get out in the field and work directly with our staff and students is a bonus. So working with people and just the right amount of organized chaos is what makes up her job, but to want to do it day in and day out for 15 years there has to be a catch, right? Claire is quick to point out the sense of community that surrounds the BOEC. In the winter, Claire enjoys all types of skiing, including Cross Country.

Claire goes through Noah's paperwork, preparing to go public with her ability and expose the Company 's secrets. While packing up her father's files to bring down the Company, West arrives and tries to stop her from revealing his secret.

Angered, she gives him his file, and tells him "there is no 'us' to worry about anymore. He tells Claire not to expose the Company, and informs her that he has made a deal, and will again be working for them. In exchange, his family will be left alone to lead normal lives. Claire learns that Nathan has been shot and rushes to try and help him.

Before she can leave, Sylar arrives and begins to terrorize her with his only remaining ability. Claire manages to stab him but Sylar pins her to the wall and slices her skull. He copies her power and then allows her to regenerate before he leaves. Claire discovers that her ability has changed and that she can no longer feel pain. Once again, she tests her limits by trying to be hit by a train. When the prisoners from Level 5 escape, Claire begs Noah to make her his partner, but Noah instead reveals that Meredith will be protecting the family.

Meredith teaches Claire how to fight and ends up torturing her inside of a shipping container. Claire lies and says that she will not hunt villains, but soon leaves to bring in Stephen Canfield.

Upon learning that Stephen is not a monster, Claire helps him find his family. Later, Claire is shocked when Noah treats Stephen like a tool, and she is briefly tricked by Sylar into believing that Noah hates all evolved humans. Claire returns home and teams up with Sandra to find Meredith.

She defeats Eric Doyle and, after returning home, runs into Elle. She and Elle travel to Pinehearst to fix their malfunctioning abilities but upon arrival, they find Peter , who is now powerless.

Claire helps Peter and then tells Nathan and Tracy where Arthur is. Pinehearst soon begins looking for Claire, who is believed to be the Catalyst. Claire becomes protected by The Company and Noah takes her to the Canfield home to properly train her. Elle and Sylar come looking for her and Claire ends up being shot. With the eclipse in place, Claire does not heal and actually dies. She regenerates as soon as the eclipse is over and is then rescued from a home invasion by Hiro Nakamura , who takes her 16 years into the past.

Claire convinces past Noah not to take Claire back to the Company and successfully saves herself from becoming the Catalyst. Arthur tracks them down and sends Claire back to the present where she, Angela , Noah and Meredith prepare to bring down Pinehearst.

Sylar intervenes and holds all four of them prisoner with Primatech. He attacks all of them until Claire manages to kill him. Two months later, Claire lives with the feeling that Sylar is still alive and killing. She overhears a conversation between Angela and Nathan and learns that the government is rounding people up.

She warns Matt Parkman , but both are quickly captured. Claire is given a free pass by Nathan, but she still gets onto Flight and frees the prisoners. After the plane goes down, Nathan sends Claire back home, where she is contacted by Rebel.

She is given the mission to protect Alex Woolsly from Noah and she hides him in her house. They return home and find Eric Doyle, who has received a message from Rebel instructing Claire to help him. Claire and her mother go after Eric Doyle to rescue Meredith but get trapped in his twisted game. Claire was able to save both her mothers by faking her death and then knocks Eric over on the back of the head.

They return home to find Lyle unconscious and that Elle was back with no control over her powers. They decide to go to Pinehearst to get help on their powers but instead, Claire helps an injured Peter who has lost his powers.

She wants to help Peter but he refuses until Knox and Flint show up to collect Peter. Claire distracts them and then jumps out a window. She runs away along with Peter and go into the sewers. Peter reveals that he saw the future and that she was a cold blooded killer and murdered him in that alley. Then Knox and Flint returned, Claire went to distract them but they were after Claire this whole time. This made Peter come to the rescue and then they escaped to Primatech. After Angela talked about the catalyst, Claire revealed that she might be the catalyst after her encounter with Sylar.

Her father is assigned to protect Claire so Pinehearst couldn't get the catalyst and then the eclipse occurred. Elle and Sylar come to collect Claire under Arthur Petrelli's orders but come to realize that their powers are gone because of the eclipse. Elle shoots a bullet heading towards Noah but Claire intervenes but doesn't heal. Noah defeats Elle and Sylar then takes Claire home.

They believed that the wound was treated but was really infected and Sandra had no choice but to take her to the hospital. After the eclipse passed, her ability kicked in and she healed from the wound. After returning home, Sylar and Elle show up with their abilities as well until Hiro Nakamura shows up and sends them away.

Then Hiro takes Claire 16 years into the past to see the day she was given to her adoptive father. Claire follows her past and sees her adoptive mother younger and tells her that she is Bonnie. Claire helps her mother out with her past self and then her adoptive father arrived, wanting to know who she really is. Hiro tells Claire he has taken the catalyst and then Arthur Petrelli arrives to take Hiro's powers and the catalyst, then tossed him off the roof.

He teleports Claire back to the present and teleports himself. Claire is at Primatech when Sylar shuts down the building and wants them to suffer. She is to protect Angela and then is forced to choose between saving her father or grandmother. Claire goes to save her father from Meredith's uncontrolled fire and then promises to come back to save her. Before Sylar could kill Angela, she jabbed a shard into the back of his head and then comes back for Meredith.

Realizing she couldn't leave, Claire tells her mother that she loved her and sheds a tear when Primatech burns to the ground. Two months has passed and Claire suspects that Sylar is still alive. Angela assures her that he is gone and that she can have a normal life by going to college to get an education, telling Claire that she has discussed this with both of Claire's fathers and they have decided this is the best future for her.

Claire later overhears a conversation between Nathan and Angela about taking down people with abilities. Nathan wants Angela to keep Claire far away from this entire operation. She calls Peter and warns him about Nathan's plan before going to warn Matt since he is their next target. When she gets there, Matt shows her the drawings he made and then they are abducted by Nathan's men. Nathan has Claire uncuffed and released, having given her a free pass.

He puts her in his car so she can be taken home. However, Claire escapes and sneaks into the plane to rescue the other heroes. She threatens the pilot to land the plane and is shocked to see her father in the co-pilot's seat.

After the plane crashes, Claire escapes with Peter but both are caught by her father, Noah. She convinces her father to let Peter go but she is taken to Nathan.

Claire tells Noah that Nathan tried to send her home but she refuses to walk out on her friends. She is disgusted with both her fathers since these are their friends and both of her dads are hunting them like animals. Daphne is shot and Claire takes the bullets while the others escaped. Danko takes her back in and threatens to shoot her in the back of the head before both of her fathers stop Danko.

She is taken home in Costa Verde and is told by her father to not reveal this information to her mother. Her mother believes that they went on college trips and is glad that Claire is back home. Then she gets text messages from "Rebel" not to give up on the fight. She barely manages to get him away from the agents and her father confronts on her actions over helping him and that the agents will take her away if he can't control her.

Claire reveals to her mother the actions her father had done and his involvement with the government. Claire's free pass is up when Nathan's ability is discovered. As agents storm her house to apprehend Claire, Nathan rescues her and flies her to Mexico to protect her. Claire helps convince her father to do the right thing and shut down the operation he started. However, when Claire is sent to help Nathan warn the president about Sylar, Sylar takes on Claire's form, fooling Claire into believing he is Nathan.

Claire started university, looking to find herself; and quickly made a new friend, Gretchen. Things soon went to pieces when her annoying roommate Annie appeared to jump out of a window and kill herself. Claire threw herself out of the same window to see whether the suicide was possible, but her secret was out as Gretchen witnessed Claire popping her ribs back in. G visited and wanted to erase Gretchen's memory but Claire persuaded him not to - she was glad to have a friend she could be completely honest with.

When she was attacked and Gretchen started acting suspiciously, Claire jumped to conclusions.
