Should i sli 460

Now it's not so black and white, because even the high-end cards are struggling to compete with a pair of midrange wonders like the GTX The GTX arrived last month and wowed us with its double-ended loving of both fantastic value and great 3D performance.

The only slight fly in the ointment was the fact that it arrived in two very different spins from the outset. We had both the full-fat 1GB versions and the cut-down MB cards. It sounds like the mobo doesn't support SLI but there are other things that could cause it not to work.

What's the make and model of your mobo? Who manufactured evga, pny, msi etc I agree What is your Motherboard Brand I'm having Real bad issues with my 's, but not like your situation. Btw do you have a recommend mobo? We do have some SLI mobo recommendation mentioned here below. You can't go wrong with any one of them. One reason is that indexed temporaries are hard to optimize. The shader optimizer may not be able to identify optimizations across indexed accesses that could otherwise have been detected.

Furthermore, indexed temporaries tend to increase register pressure a lot. An ordinary shader that contains for instance a few dozen variables will seldom consume a few dozen temporaries in the end but is likely to be optimized down to a handful depending on what the shader does. This is because the shader optimizer can easily track all variables and reuse registers.

This is typically not possible for indexed temporaries, thus the register pressure of the shader may increase dramatically. OpenGL 4. Although it has more power consumption than 1 GTX ,but its a great cost-effective option for those who can't afford the but need similar or better performance. I might be mistaken but is this sparkle card a bit more power hungry. But you lose the power to upgrade At least I can still save up for another down the road when I need an upgrade.
